Two guineas in a cage, one eating pellets

A small amount of pellets each day helps fill any nutritional gaps, most manufacturers recommend an amount of pellets per guinea.

Good pellets always have grass/hay as the first and main ingredient. Pellets can be scatter fed to provide enrichment.

Pellets need to be stored in a dark place and sealed up once the bag has been opened as the vitamin content deteriorates once opened.

We do not feed or recommend muesli type feeds as guineas will selectively feed and miss out on nutrients.
