Guineas are social animals and should live with other guineas as humans can't replace the need for a guinea companion.
Boars (boys) are best in pairs only, sows (girls) can live in bigger groups or with one neutered boar. There are lots of myths about boars and this sadly means that many boars are in rescues often waiting a very long time for their forever home. Adult boars can be bonded together, it's a myth that only a baby boar can be bonded with an adult boar. Ourselves and many other rescues have no issues bonding adult boars, it's all about personalities and whether they are a good match. Boars often have huge personalities and don't tend to squabble like sows do!
It's perfectly normal for guineas not to cuddle up together. Being bonded means they are happy to share a cage without fighting and lots of guineas like their own space, it doesn't mean they aren't well bonded.
Guineas should never be housed with rabbits. They are both a different species, are unable to communicate and a rabbits kick can be fatal for a guinea. Rabbits often carry Bordetella, a bacteria that doesn't always affect them, show any signs or cause illness but if it is transmitted to a guinea it is very difficult to treat and often fatal for a guinea.
