Snowy

Snowy was surrendered in January 2023 with his sons.

Snowy was a lethal gene guinea which is condition caused by breeding certain coat types.

Lethal gene guineas have shorter lifespans, are often blind and deaf, have tiny or no eyes, have dental issues and are generally compromised health wise.

On arrival Snowy was underweight and unable to eat. He was blind, deaf and had a misaligned jaw and a tooth that grew out of his chin. He received regular ongoing vet care throughout his life at Cavy Corner.

Despite all his issues he had a huge personality and enjoyed bossing his son around.
