Roo

Roo was rescued in October 2021 and weighed just 140g at 7 weeks old.

She was desperately ill on arrival. Tests from our vet revealed that she had major congenital medical issues including portosystemic shunt ( liver problem) and pylectasis dilation of the renal pelvis ( kidney problems) causing stunted growth and a shortened life expectancy, she also had a large painful facial abscess.

Her prognosis was poor and she wasn't expected to survive.

Roo defied the odds against her and lived a happy life at Cavy Corner with her companion Kanga.
