Our new website

We're happy to announce that we have a new website.

The previous website was subjected to a cyber attack that resulted in us taking it offline.

The old website was launched in 2018 and many things have changed since then. Our new website has been completely rebuilt to reflect those changes regarding who we are and what we do as a charity.

The site also provides information about how you can help and support us to provide the very best care for the guineas that we look after.

You will find a range of useful information on the site including news, events, care advice, adoption and rescues. We will also be making use of some of our Facebook video content moving forwards.

Cavy Corner is a volunteer run charity, no one gets paid. Like the rest of our activities, the website has been built by volunteers and the hosting to put the website online is provided as a donation.

A project like this one is typical of the behind the scenes work that takes place when running our rescue charity and it is, like all the work our volunteers carry out, vital to us. If you are thinking about volunteering with us, it is surprising how much is happening beyond the hands on care of our guineas - we are always happy to talk if you feel you might be able to help with your knowledge and experience.
